HOURGLASS is a video piece that integrates physical installation and performance to explore the impact of relationships within a pessimistic framework. The project interrogates the paradox of human connection—why individuals willingly engage in relationships despite their inevitable end. Through this work, the artist examines how transient relationships leave lasting, unconscious imprints on the body and psyche. Ultimately, the project asserts that even the most fragile and ephemeral connections shape one's identity and perception in enduring ways.
