Interactive Sound Installation
Silent Ink is an interactive sound installation that redefines the experience of poetry by merging traditional elegance with cutting-edge technology. Inspired by a chance encounter with poet Peter Chinman in Washington Square Park, the project transforms a handwritten poem into an interactive experience. Utilizing the Bare Conductive Touch Board and conductive paint, viewers can physically engage with the poem lines displayed within a frame, activating a symphony of carefully curated sounds through headphones.
