"Real darkness has love for a face. The first death is in the heart."

Inspired by Plato's Theory of Forms, Mingze's artistic practice explores emotional Forms that lie dormant within individuals' hearts, particularly in the context of intimate relationships. His works, primarily through physical and interactive installations and sculptures, seek to resonate with the audiences’ inner feelings. Mingze views the medium as a bridge, simplifying the understanding of profound emotions in a straightforward and impactful way. He believes that the tangible nature of his installations fosters a more immediate and authentic emotional connection, surpassing the limitations of digital media confined to screens. Interactivity is key to his approach, transforming installations into immersive experiences that envelop the audience, highlighting the transformative power of being within the art itself.
