Artist Statement
Mingze is a new media artist whose practice centers on the human pursuit of love and connection in the face of contemporary loneliness and social alienation. His work carries a deeply idealistic and romantic worldview, an artistic ideology that stands as a poetic resistance to the growing detachment of modern life.
He approaches technology with both fascination and critique, upholding the principle that “technology must serve narrative.” His practice seeks to fuse emerging technologies with humanistic storytelling, using digital systems as instruments of emotion rather than domination.
Working across interactive installations, video sculpture, immersive experiences, and digital media, Mingze constructs sensorial environments that invite audiences to rediscover intimacy, vulnerability, and presence, reminding us that even within a hyper-connected world, the longing for genuine connection remains profoundly human.
